Orchid Again with Momiji
December just keeps getting....harder. I'm attempting a fake smile here whilst enjoying a few sun rays which only really occur in the morning since it's pitch black out by the time I leave. I *think I'm sporting some more Radiant Orchid -ish tones here with a wool high-waisted pencil skirt. I came across and old Momiji doll, which is a little Japanese good luck tchotchke or zakka that has a little slot in the bottom where a gifter can write a short message on paper and store it in there for you. It's needed today, and all of the Dec. days.

Satin Meet Linen
So this is what linen does in the winter: it becomes a light layerer for a half-sleeve sweater. No ironing needed! Because my iron is lonelier than the dusty package of decaf coffee in the cupboard. I brought in an age old locker mirror (heyyyy....remember those?) to use as needed in the office, and see I really need a haircut soon. The satin skirt is soft enough for rough boots and doesn't cling so everybody is happy: Satin, meet Linen. I was complimented on my bright red coat for Christmas, however, it's my every-winter coat paired with my bright, happy non-itchy scarf.
