Textured Out Friday

It's a stormy Friday so I broke out the cable-knit green, brocade bubble skirt with bows, chevron-esque fishnet tights, and some hardy all-winter boots. All topped with a skinny headband.  This combination is brought to you by a harried morning in which I wasn't sure if the storm was happening early than predicted. So I threw on my uniform of things for a textured out Friday. Do you spy an old pile of cds beyond the plant? They've been sitting there almost a whole year collecting layers of dust! I had almost forgotten them.

Orchid Again with Momiji

December just keeps getting....harder. I'm attempting a fake smile here whilst enjoying a few sun rays which only really occur in the morning since it's pitch black out by the time I leave. I *think I'm sporting some more Radiant Orchid -ish tones here with a wool high-waisted pencil skirt. I came across and old Momiji doll, which is a little Japanese good luck tchotchke or zakka that has a little slot in the bottom where a gifter can write a short message on paper and store it in there for you.  It's needed today, and all of the Dec. days.
