Wild Time

The gloomy weather just can't make up its mind around here!  Today 50 degrees and muggy, and the weekend calls for rain/sleet/snow. The Midwest can't catch a break, it's a wild time.  I brought in some leopard today; printed on my thin (perfect for mishmash weather like today) cardigan.  I paired my usual uniform of black tights and brogues with a maroon pencil skirt and blush lace-textured top.  Of course I couldn't wear the top alone! Because not only does it not have sleeves (for my sleeves), the lace is too baring.  I haven't made the layered camisole jump yet, but I've been thinking about it... Also, do you think anyone noticed my office plant wearing a Princess Peach crown? Good fun.

Festive Green

I've got the festive (gifted) green-ish blue on for a work luncheon, and even borrowed some festive reindeer antlers for the occasion, thanks to a lovely friend and coworker.  I try to have a sensible quick breakfast, since I know I cannot not indulge in holiday desserts when it's catered.  My studded oxfords and patent silver bib necklace bring in a bit of Christmas bling and a bonus- this dress has pockets!; (what every girl needs).  I left the hair as-is and wild today, and did you notice, we have sunlight today?!
