I needed something fresh for yet another snow day bundled up. We have record-breaking frigid temps today which inspired some fuzzy selections like this Snow Day Parka with a Rabbit Hunt. The bulk of the parka and faux-fur boots needed a little whimsy so I hunted down some bunny rabbit accents in gold. The Hello sweater and knee-padded trousers give this outfit a casual-comfy (without getting too bummy) feel and the Burberry scarf is just a classic (and warm) piece. I'm in love with the dotted ear-muffs that double as headphones and may order them to help me get out of this cabin fever slump I'm beginning to feel. Yet again. I'm starting to believe I wasn't made for snowy conditions. Give me the sunshine!

Sweater Weather
Basic all-black here again, but this time, it's paired with a lovely sweater that was hiding in the back of my closet. The perfect contribution to my all-black layering is this super thick and super warm 3/4 sleeve sweater cardigan (from my cousin). So much black needed a costume necklace and a detailed silver cuff. Plus, brrrrr, it's like 8°F out! We had snow which makes for great sweater weather, and allowed me to work some easy feltie details onto my OldNavy tote bag. I brought in some note-taking items (and found a really old panda throwback case) for my breaks, to get those new year's goals written down.
Here's a similar set to shop:
