Prints and Khaki
I'm in love with violet in that rich, deep, luxurious shade. And when it's prints and khaki together it's even better! Its not sweater weather out, so I skipped layering this shirt like I usually do, but am finding that I love the deep violet print on the lighter purple. Lovely. I unfortunately lost of one my black studded hoops over the last few weeks, and then was pleasantly surprised to get a new pave seat of bowtie earrings which are even sweeter for spring. And sparkly, because let's talk about what's important in life. It's also a venti and multi-beverage kind of day even though it's Friday. This week has just been harder than the last few. I have a pretty wicked dental appt. next Thursday, so I'll try to think of something special to post instead of my possible sweats ensemble (because hours-long at a dental office calls for it). My khaki tulip skirt is one of my faves, even though it tends to add some bulk to a look, the pockets and skinny belt give it just a tad of casualness and dressiness. I'm looking forward to a non-snowed in Saturday.

Painted Flowers
I've been absolutely bitten by the subscription box bug! I've got a few things even lying around the office with me from @lootcrate and @goldentote and I guess always some @birchbox supples around. I hope to do a mini-review of my first goldentote, but I'm actually on the fence about swapping one item in it while I just LURVE the item I got to pick. Speaking of lurving things, this Isaac Mizrahi skirt is one of my favorite things I own. It's also hard to match and pair with just about everything. Today was the first time I've paired with this Vera Wang long-sleeved tee of painted flowers and I guess it's muted enough to match. But not. I feel like I need to invest in a replacement wow-factor skirt but then I'd have less of the challenge to make my wardrobe "work for me." My cute little solar-powered panda has been dancing on and off lately, and the sound is like a metronome (I remember clearly from years' past piano lessons) but happy. Because panda= awesome. I know, I should really stop with the black boots and tights. Come spring, I swear I will!
