Florals and Basics

Today's springtime florals are brought to you by this lovely henley blouse I hope to own for ages and ages.  I have on florals and basics today.  Since my top has lots going on, I paired it with a black pencil skirt, nude flats, and a big white beaded necklace that goes with my simple silver chain hinge cuff and jade ring.  I did curl my hair a bit, but I'm guessing the high winds and humidity changes are just going to fight against me and cause me to seriously think about chopping off all of it. Well, most of it.  I'm delighted to just not have to wear my black tights; I love them a ton, but just need less dark. Bon jour!

Under Skies

There was sun. There wasn't sun. There was rain. And then there was a gray overcast that provided horrible unnatural lighting for grainy pics.  BUT, I am sporting the Under Skies Spring Midday dress from Goldentote and the fit is great, as is the vintage-y and simple lines.  Except, it is about 5 inches too short for me.  I'm not that tall, so either it's supposed to be that short, or made for very 6 o'clock shapes.  So, luckily I found some random teal color leggings that completely match my teal necklace from India at Walmart and it's a  win.  All cotton, all simple, and paired with my leopard print flats.  It's a straight hair, don't care and no fuss gray Monday.
