Purple Passion

I love purple and blue, and this is purple passion for sure.  I am doing something I've never done before: I'm wearing a cable-knit sweater UNDER a cardigan. Wait, WHUT? Because the colors go and even though I'm warming up to springier colors, I just love the dark richness of shades of violet and blue.  And just so I wasn't too saturated in my color tones, I wore nude flats to balance it out along with lots of sparkly silver.  With more coffee, please.

Classic Prep

Solids and silver accents are part of my classic prep look.  I even threw in a pink/peachy skinny belt as another ode to spring!  This tulip skirt (in season years ago) has been a classic piece that matches just about anything, even an old band tee. I dug up my tortoise-shell sunnies and the lovely Brokedown ikat scarf from last month's PopSugarMustHave box which is so pretty and bold for the season.  One of my new 'things to try' this year was gold jewelry but I just can't.  And I can't pass up geometric silver shaped bracelets either, so while I might look for the perfect gold piece, in the meantime I'll stick to small silver accents everywhere.
